Bibagogo Business Review by Mommyperks

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

Kathleen and I have been faithfully following Mommyperks for awhile.  Shara Lawrence-Weiss, owner of Mommyperks, seriously had us when she said on her ‘about us’ page:

“Patience and perseverance, I always say. Slow and steady wins the race. Relationships over Numbers. People over Money. Caring over Fame. Welcome to the Mommy Perks way of thinking”.

We share this way of thinking and through the months of following and participating in some of her marketing programs and Perks, it is evident that her actions speak louder than her words.  Kathleen and I hired Mommyperks to do a business write-up on Bibagogo.

In her write up of Bibagogo, Shara of Mommyperks highlighted:

  • What’s Bibagogo all about?
  • Explains more about how it is a product that “incorporates the cooperative triads of efforts of creative ideas, talents and execution… Father-inspired, designed (and co-owned) by a high-end women’s couture fashion designer and co-owned by a mom entrepreneur”.
  • Who uses or stocks the Bibagogo line?
  • Wholesale options
  • What are customers saying?
  • List of awards that the Bibagogo received.

A Type “A” Moms Answer Too Mess Free Infant!

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

Andrea Page, FitmomCEO posted about the Bibagogo on her AndreaPageOnline blog:

Check this out. It ’s so funny how every new product makes me want to have another baby ( for 10 seconds ) . I also don’t get how I still get so excited about a bib,but heres the deal. The neat freak in me is in love with the features of the Bibagogo . It comes with a spoon that locks away in its own compartent so it doesn’t get crap all over my fancy now purse/diaper bag. Both sides wipe down and two cloth holders and the fact that my even 4 year old can’t even yank it off ( the snaps are amazing! ) is why I love it! While between 20-45 $ for a bib may seem like a lot I can’t even imagine how much one would save on laundry, time ,lost baby cloths and spoons.  What a great gift for a mommy like me.

Our thanks to Andrea and bravo for her bold and so true statement: “Motherhood inspires Greatness”!

Alberta Moms Review an Alberta Designed and Made Bibagogo!

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011

An amazing Alberta Mommy-Blogger a.k.a. Sweet Mummy, who life motto it, “It’s OK to be WEIRD!” just posted a lovely review of our Alberta-made Bibagogo on her site called It’s OK to be WEIRD!  Who Decides what Normal anyways?

Since being involved with marketing in this vast world of the internet, I have found that we (online business) often think so globally and forget that our very neighbour, friend down the street, mommy & daddy blogger in the next town or city over, is blogging, twittering, facebooking.  I literally stumbled upon Sweet Mummy and just had to connect with her.  How can you not when you read that she sing & dance through life.

Thanks to Sweet Mummy and her mommy-friends, Shan &  Tara, for supporting their neighbour’s inspiration, our Bibagogo!

Some of the posted reviews are here, please log onto her site to see more.

Shan S. – mom of 2 busy boys, ages 8 1/2 years old, and 22 months old:

[The Bibagogo] is functional and nice to have all the stuff together in one easy roll. I like the fabric and the size is great as well! Thanks for sharing it with me!

Tara I. – mom of 1 sweet boy, age 9 months:

I love my bibagogo! Everything about it is wonderful. The cute print, the easy wipe-able materials it is made out of, and all the usable pockets. It is so convenient to have a bib with a spoon and cloths all in one easy package in my diaper bag. My favorite thing about it is the length of the bib. I will definitely be buying some for my friends!

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to try this amazing product! Love it!

Bibagogo Recommended on National CTV Canada AM

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

This morning on CTV News Canada AM, there was a great feature titled, Top Tips for Travelling with Tots.

Family travel expert Corinne McDermott of Have Baby Will Travel, offers tips for smooth sailing (or flying, or driving) on your next family getaway!

Corinne displayed some amazing products including our very own Canadian made, Bibagogo.  She highlighted the importance of having a easy wipe bib that is long to tuck under tables.  Also showed how conveniently portable the rolled up Bibagogo was and having the back pockets with 2 facecloths and a spoon was a bonus!

Thanks Corinne for your support.

Corinne informed me that she still has her original Bibagogo from years ago and it has held up through travel and use!

Grammy Award winning musician Jewel Kilcher who is expecting her first child with her husband, nine-time world champion pro rodeo cowboy, Ty Murray.
We are so pleased to have the opportunity to send her one of our Canadian made Bibagogo!

Too bad we didn’t have cowboy boots on the Rainboot Bibagogos! Maybe that is a pattern we should look for?

Thank you to MommyPerks and Womentorz for this great chance to say, “Go ahead. Get messy. Bibagogo” congratulations!

Christina Applegate’s Bibagogo Gift!

Monday, January 31st, 2011

Something pretty and something pink for Christina Applegate and her little buddle of joy!

The Pink Shortcake Bibagogo is one of the 9 gifts that were sent to Christina Applegate and her husband.

A big thank you to Womentorz and Shara from Mommyperks.  We wouldn’t have had this amazing opportunity to share if it wasn’t for them.  Hope that Christina finds the Bibagogo as useful as all the other moms and dads that have it from birth to toddlerhood.  It can be used as a washable changepad, to a cherrio/soother/toy holding car seat and stroller bib, feeding bib to an arts & craft bib.  Multi-purpose, fashionable and easy to care for!  Congratulations Christina!

REVIEW BY PRACTICAL MUM:  Shelagh Cummins

I have a new favorite item. The Bibagogo big. It’s super well made, easy to clean fabric (in washer AND dryer!!), the storage compartments for facecloths and a spoon is dynamite… what a great invention. Having never left home with all items for a meal before (I always forget at least one thing!), this bib is a huge help.
I love the different designs to choose from, and I feel like the price point is very reasonable, particularly when you see the quality of the bib. Take it from me, not all bibs are created equal.

llmom on January 3, 2011 at 5:59 pm says:

I tested out the Bibagogo bib too. It was great! The bib is generous in size and tucks under a tabletop or tray. I was nervous about no sleeves as that is what we usually use, but it was not a problem due to the size of the bib. I loved having the spoon and 2 facecloths too. I always forget one or other of utensil, facecloth or bib when travelling.

The cloth is so thick that when I cleaned the front of the bib after a meal, the facecloths and spoons didn’t even get wet in their compartments. The spoon was in so snug in its pouch that I almost put the bib in the wash with the spoon still in. This means you won’t lose it in your bag or during use if you don’t need it. And it washes easily too!

Take it from a mom who does a lot of travelling with my toddler, this is so handy and fits easily in the diaper bag or carry all.

NY on January 8, 2011 at 1:42 am says:

-Fabulous find this bib is now part of the diaper bag. Great for travelling.

-Must have been created by a very smart mama given that it has a snap and not velcro SO GOOD – my little one I swear can smell velcro from a mile away and then we have the bib war which is tuff stuff when we have to get thru the food war too.
-Love the Christmas print – great for boy or girl.
-Excellent quality fabric!
-Not ready to part however with the ones I use at home full-time as they have the plastic scoop part to catch all the food given that the toddler is digging the independent eating these days the scoop is necessary.

To Dine For as featured on mysweetbaby.ca

bibagogocanada (Dec.30.10)

We’ve partnered with PTPA Media (Parent-Tested, Parent-Approved), to bring you the best finds from their winning products.

Bibagogo ($30) The Bibagogo is a stain-resistant bib that has hidden wet and dry storage pockets with a feeding spoon and two facecloths. That bottom pocket not only catches crumbs but can hold soothers, crayons, even small toys when on the run and because the bib is extra-long, it helps better protect children’s clothing and makes it easier to tuck under highchairs and restaurant tables. The adjustable snap at the neck won’t allow the bib to be pulled off by the child. Oh, and did we mention the roll-and-go design and easy-wash, fast-drying fabric? Stash it in the diaper bag for every and any occasion!

PTPA Tester comments:
“I would absolutely recommend the Bibagogo based on the quality, how easy it cleaned and how great the size is!” Andrea M, Newmarket, ON

“LOVE this bib, everything came off of it (and he got it VERY, VERY MESSY) many, many times! Food, paint, milk, juice, you name it.” Sammy L, Toronto
